| The answer to this question depends on a the level of the course i.e. undergraduate or postgraduate, and your financial circumstances. The students getting scholarships in Ivy League universities are not the rule but the exception. It is definitely worth it , if you can afford it! Taking on huge loans at undergraduate level is not really advisable , as you can manage to get an excellent education in state universities and then move on to an Ivy League at Masters level! A very good example is UT Austin, which is excellent but the fees is a much less, probably a quarter , of what you would spend at an Ivy League! Thus you have to see what is the best fit for you, as a student! |
